Two Quick Interviews

Filed in Interviews by Matt McGee on January 15, 2009

You thought I disappeared after Monday’s Trust post, but no such luck. 🙂 The past couple days have been spent on client work and SMX West work — I’m coordinating and moderating three sessions.

Meanwhile, I did a couple short interviews recently that are now posted elsewhere. At the risk of being self-indulgent, here they are:

  • 5 Questions with Matt McGee — an interview done by Craig Sutton, a fellow Tri-Citian that some of you have met at the Small Business Marketing Unleashed shows, or the Learn About Web conference that Craig put together a couple months back. This one covers some SEO, but also several other topics.
  • Local Biz Bits — an article by Larry Sullivan, in which I’m one of several small business consultants talking about marketing ideas for 2009. My comments are about hyperlocal marketing/blogging.

Speaking of hyperlocal blogging, I’ll be giving a presentation on the subject at SMX West. Over on Hyperlocal Blogger, I’ve asked for ideas on what to cover in my talk: What Would You Say About Hyperlocal Blogging? If you have some thoughts, please click over and leave a comment.
