Speaking at ad:tech next week
For a couple years now I’ve been looking at ad:tech and thinking it would be cool to attend one. It seems like quite a different conference than the search marketing shows I’m used to, with different speakers, different vendors, and a different audience.
I’ll finally have my chance next week because I’m speaking on day two of the show. First, I’ll be covering the local search part of the Mobile, Local and Video Search Tactics session. It’s part of what I think is a new thing called SMX @ ad:tech — Danny Sullivan is coordinating a mini-SMX track covering a variety of search marketing topics. Cindy Krum and Drew Hubbard are on that panel, too. And when that session wraps up, I’ll be staying in my chair for the no-Powerpoints-allowed Search Questions and Answers panel with folks like Jeffrey Pruitt, Mona Elesseily, Bruce Clay, and Cindy Krum (also staying in her chair).
It’ll be a quick trip down to San Francisco, but I’m looking forward to it. If you’re gonna be there, please do say hello!
