Small Business Marketing gets SES coverage

This is cool. When I was in Seattle last month for the Search Engine Watch Live event, I was lucky enough to chat with Danny Sullivan for about 5-10 minutes after the workshop. One of the things we chatted about was the upcoming Search Engine Strategies – San Jose conference — the biggest of all the SES mega-conferences.

I asked Danny if there’s much discussion related to small businesses, and he told me they had done sessions devoted to small businesses, small web sites, and even charities/non-profits in the past … but he didn’t sound too optimistic those sessions would be happening in San Jose.

Well, the San Jose schedule is now up, and you can see where this is going. 🙂

Wednesday, 9 am: Big Ideas For Small Sites & Small Budgets

Sweet! If you’re a small business owner who’s able to attend the conference, do give it some thought. Though I’ve never been myself, everyone I spoke with in Seattle said it’s a must-attend event.

(Note, too, that there’s a Local Search session at 9 am on Thursday.)
