October ’12: Best Search/Marketing Posts
Here’s my roundup of the best search/marketing posts that I found and read during October. If you’re new to this blog, this is a monthly feature that began way back in 2007. You can find earlier “Best Of”s for each month in the Link Roundups category archive. I never include my own posts in these end-of-month recaps.

Hey, Matt. Thanks for the inclusion of my post on ContentHook! Love the other posts here as well.
You’re welcome, Dan – good article, I’m glad I found it.
Great little collection there Matt and I’ve been reading up on quite a bit of Miriam Ellis stuff on Local Search the past few weeks – its very good and so was pleased to see it make your list.
Anyway – I think I have found the content I intend to digest in November here! lol Cheers from Australia 🙂
Nice selection, thanks! Anything on Google always interests me, especially how they go about looking at links. They’re an enigmatic company, for sure, but I like how they’re trying to clean up the internet a bit. Spam etc. is very annoying and it’s such a shame its practitioners don’t realise it simply isn’t working.
And I liked the Pinterest guide, too. I like the site a lot, I hope they continue to rise. As with StumbleUpon, which has quickly become my favourite internet tool of late.
Hey Matt, thanks for the content marketing inclusion! Elisa has been on fire lately so keep an eye on her works (they’re awesome)!
