Matt Cutts on eMarketing Talk Show

Google logoGoogle’s Matt Cutts answered questions for almost an hour Friday on the eMarketing Talk Show, and covered a lot of ground across four separate segments. If you’re an expert SEO, you won’t learn much, but if you’re a small business owner this very well could be a good listen.

They cover topics including PageRank, the sandbox, flash-based web sites, and more. The one factoid that sticks with me came at the beginning during a discussion of dynamic web sites and how many parameters a URL can safely have for crawlability. Matt’s reply: it’s safe to have 1-2 parameters in your URL, and “I’d have to go back and check the code to see if 3 is okay!”
