February ‘07: Best Search/Marketing Posts
Here’s the February roundup of my picks for best posts of the month in a variety of categories. The January recap is here, and in case you missed that, the only rule is that my own posts are not eligible. I’ll be doing this recap at the end of every month, and have some fun plans for this stuff later in the year.
41 links overall this month. Bill Slawski (SEO by the Sea) and Brian Provost (Scoreboard Media) make several appearances each – well done, gentlemen.

Hi Matt,
I’m keen to begin using WordPress and just for once (!) I plan to learn before I leap.
Which template would you recommend for maximum SEO impact? I’m conscious of the need to get the internal links well connected without having to spend ages on admin.
Thanks,
Pete
I always fall into people’s “rant” category, why is that? 🙂
…and why did he misname you? You are “The Lisa” 😉
There is a type in the last link of that post. “hhttp”
– thanks for this rundown
LB – I think “Rants” is the best category to be in. It seems to have the highst quality writing of all the categories. 🙂
Simon – you hush…. 🙂
Tim – thanks, dude. Fixed.
Pete – I’m no expert on WP themes. I think no matter what theme you use, it’s the plugins that help make the blog more SEO-friendly.
Plugins it is – thanks 🙂
