Are You Able to Comment on This Post?

Hi readers,

HELPI need some help.

One of my longtime readers and frequent commenters is reporting that she’s unable to login to SBS and share a comment. She says that the attempts to login are being recognized, but on returning to the post, she keeps being asked to login time after time.

If you’re registered on this blog, would you mind trying to login and leave a comment on this post, please? (If you’re not registered, feel free to register and help out if you feel like it.)

If you can’t login and/or comment, please email me to let me know. If you don’t know my email address, use this handy contact form which is working.

Thank you in advance!!!

Weird, now it works for me. Did you change anything, Matt?

Hi Matt, actually I know what your friend is talking about. This happens to me every time too. After I login I am taken back to the post, but there is no comment box. When I refresh the page, the comment box appears.
Strange that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Could it be our settings? It doesn’t happen on any other blogs I frequent.

What a bunch of comedians you all are! Soooo funny. 🙂 Seriously, thanks. Justin, it sounds like maybe the page is just cached in your browser. I wonder if that’s all it is….

Well I have not commented on this blog before, but have read it for some time. This seems like a good time to say thanks for all the tips and links. If this comment works, you will know that a new user can log in and comment from outside the U.S.

I just logged out and checked it out on your other blog posts. That’s exactly what it is. Just the cache.

I’m doing this for a link.

    😉

Matt, this is the same problem I was mentioning to you a few months ago. It seems to have to do with the cache as your other readers have pointed out.

Thanks for all the comments and help with this, gang. Nice to know that nothing’s broken on this end.
