Finalists for the 2010 SEMMY Awards were announced this morning on www.semmys.org. Thanks to the 20+ judges who gave their time and energy to reading the nominees and selecting the articles that would make the finals.

Public voting is open now in all 17 categories, and will remain open through end-of-day this Friday (January 29). Winners will be announced next Monday, February 1st.

If you’re a finalist, and you’d like a shot at winning, I’d suggest you blog about being a finalist, post on Twitter or Facebook, etc. History shows that winners are traditionally active in marketing their status as finalists, which is perhaps as it should be since this is a marketing-related award. No matter — my hope is that you’ll spend a few moments reading the finalists’ articles and voting for who you think is most deserving in any/all categories.
