Yahoo Local: Enhanced listings = more clicks

Thanks to Dick Larkin (of Small Business Commando) for pointing me toward Peter Krasilovsky’s recap of today’s tele-seminar with Yahoo! Local GM Paul Levine and others. (I was able to join the call for only the first 20 minutes or so, and thanks to technical difficulties, I was hanging up just as it got going.) Peter’s summary has some good nuggets about something I was banging the drum on back in April — the benefits of using Yahoo’s Enhanced/Featured Listings:
Merchants that take out enhanced listings on Yahoo! tend to improve their impressions and clicks by 2X, and increase their all-important ranking on the page, said Yahoo! Local GM Paul Levine….
