Been wondering where to get a sample editorial calendar for your blog? Just this week I found two very good ones, and both are free.
- Arnie Kuenn of Vertical Measures shared one in his recent Marketing Land article, Developing Your Editorial Content Calendar For 2013. That’s a good article, but if you just want the download link, it’s on the Vertical Measures website.
- Lee Odden of Top Rank Marketing wrote about editorial calendars on his company blog today — another good article, but again, if you just want the download link, look for the second download option on his Optimize book website.
The two editorial calendars are somewhat similar, but you’ll want to download both and decide which one more closely fits your needs, your company’s needs, etc. Or maybe you’ll just use them as inspiration to create your own version.
I wrote about the benefits of using an editorial calendar last year, but didn’t include a sample for readers to look at … so it’s nice to find these two options now.
