Tracking Local Traffic in Google Analytics

I tend to save links for the end-of-month roundup here on SBSM, but this one’s too good to hold that long:

Tracking Local Search Traffic with Analytics

Martijn Beijk writes a guest post on Mike Blumenthal’s blog that covers how to:

1.) Track URLs in the Local Business Center
2.) Track Local Campaigns using 301 Redirects
3.) Track Traffic from Google Maps
4.) Track Traffic from Universal Search (i.e., the 10-pack, 3-pack, etc.)

It’s tremendously helpful stuff for everyone doing local search marketing.
