writingIt’s no secret that I didn’t publish as much content here in 2013 as I have in years past. My writing attention was focused primarily on Marketing Land and Search Engine Land, and I also launched Glass Almanac, a blog about Google Glass.

But as I look back over last year’s Small Business Search Marketing output, I’m pleased to see that many of the articles that I put a lot of thought and time into were rewarded with your attention (in the form of pageviews). I’m also happy to see that several of my blogging articles were well received and made it into the following list of my Top 10 Posts of 2013 here on SBSM:

1) If I Were Launching a New Small Business Website Today (2013 Version)

2) 7 Keyword Research Tools for Bloggers

That’s a heck of a lineup, M2. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve steered people toward #8 (and the posts in it). Thanks for writing great stuff.

Thx for the kind words, Phil. Did you do a 2103 recap on your blog??

I toyed with the idea of doing “My 10 Lousiest Posts – 2011-2013,” just to mix it up. (Might still do it.) But “best posts” might be a taller order for my blog :)
