SES Local gets an encore
By Matt McGee on Oct 6, 2006 in Conferences/Educ., Local Search
Fresh off the success of the first-ever SES Local conference last month in Denver, no surprise that Incisive Media has announced today they’ll do the conference again in 2007.
“The extraordinary response we received for this first-time event truly validates the massive interest and importance of local search,” said Chris Sherman, event chair and executive editor of SearchEngineWatch.com, an Incisive Media property. “With local search, marketers can effectively target people looking for local services, entertainment or events online. It is crucial that we educate search marketers on all available options.”
The release refers to “hundreds” of attendees in Denver. Peter K. estimated attendance at about 275. Good to see the local conference getting an encore in 2007….
