Four questions:

1.) Are you a retailer?
2.) Do you show product images on your web site?
3.) Do you think having better product images can help increase sales?
4.) Do you agree with me that it’s possible to learn from big retailers with deeper pockets than you?

If you answered YES to those questions, make sure to be reading the Get Elastic blog, where Linda Bustos is doing a series on best practices for product images. You’ve missed two articles already:

It’s really great stuff for online retailers of any size. Don’t miss the rest of the series.

I have to state here that images ‘alt’ and ‘title’ used to drive ALOT of traffic to my old gaming site because as they say pictures are worth 100 words.

This traffic is not to be scoffed at and through this alone and people linking then to the article so resulted in many pages reaching PR1-3!
