Marchex Network / OpenList plans

Marchex logoI would be remiss if I didn’t mention all the news announced this week by my employer, Marchex. (You may recall my new job announcement last month.) Before I do that, however, this note: Small Business SEM is my personal blog, not an official Marchex publication. The thoughts, opinion, and advice I share on Small Business SEM are mine, and mine alone.*

So, with that out of the way…

Marchex this week introduced the Marchex Network, a new PPC advertising network offering ad space on our 200,000+ owned and operated web sites. Here’s the official release, and here are a couple other sites that covered the news this week:

MarketingVox.com
Greg Sterling/Screenwerk
ClickZ.com
MediaBuyerPlanner
Adotas

Marchex also announced this week the expansion of the OpenList search and content engine, including plans for our proprietary web sites in 2007.

* I should add, too, that what I’m doing is hardly unusual. For example, Chris S. is an employee of Verizon Superpages.com, yet occasionally writes on Natural Search Blog about his company and industry.
