March Madness SEO Contest goes Gonzo
By Matt McGee on Apr 7, 2008 | comments (1)
March Madness is over, and with Kansas beating Memphis in one of the best NCAA championship games I’ve seen, we have a winner in this year’s 2nd annual SEO bracket contest:
Congrats to Taylor Pratt of Gonzo SEO for a dominating performance — no one else passed 100 points, and Taylor outscored Eric Lander (2nd place) by 14 points for the title. In other words, he crushed us all.
Yours truly finished an embarrassing 13th (out of 16 active contestants), which is probably about what I deserve after ignoring college basketball all year long. Here are the full, final standings. I’ll be back in 2009 to reclaim my title.
Congrats, Taylor!

Thanks Matt! It is all luck, I don’t usually follow college basketball. I have no idea why I picked Davidson to go so far, but I’m glad that they did! Thanks for organizing the tourney!
