Local.com Joins the Landing Page Business

Local.com logoLike many others in the local search space, Local.com is now in the business of hosting business landing pages for businesses in its database. The news release focuses on the free listings service (which I thought they already had, no?), but I think the bigger story is the new Local Promote Premium service. It offers businesses a fairly feature-rich profile page hosted on Local.com. Cost? $39.95/month.

And that announcement seemed like the perfect excuse to finally add Local.com to the local search marketing guide here on SBS … something which should’ve been done ages ago.
