Great post. Now at least we have learned few things. There is so much to learn about GBS but the biggest hurdle is Google don’t want to let us know. I completely agree with you that we have to continue investigating the GBS to find out how blogs appear in search result. GBS can be a great source of blog traffic and it will play a very important role in future.

Linda – do you mean harder in general, or harder specifically for blogs? I think in general it’s easier because there are now a variety of different content types that can get page one exposure on Google. But for blogs specifically, it really seems to skew toward powerful/trusted blogs that are getting included in the universal search results, so that’s not an easy nut to crack.

Thanks for these insights in Google Blog Search. Too bad indeed, there is alot of it we do not know yet. But hopefully we will learn, because I think that GBS will be an important factor in the future of blogging.
