How Long Should a Blog Post Be? »

This is one of the most common questions small business owners and new bloggers ask. Blogging is uncharted territory. What should I write about? How often do I need to write? How long should a blog post be? Good questions all, but I’m focusing on the last one in this post.

First, though, I need to [...]

In addition to this blog, I also write Hyperlocal Blogger, a site dedicated to tips and discussion for local bloggers. If you’re a small/local business owner trying to reach your local community, blogging can be a great way to create content that interests potential customers.

    97% more inbound links
    434% more indexed pages

Blogging isn’t for everyone, but [...]

I don’t know how many Kindle users there are, and I don’t know what percentage of them own a Kindle so they can read blogs. And of that group, I don’t know what percentage of them want to read a blog about small business search marketing on their Kindle.
But I do know that, when [...]

Authority FTW: Blog Posts in Google Universal Search »

Blog search is supposed to be about freshness and timeliness, at least to some degree. That’s why we have blog search engines like Technorati, and why Google has a separate blogs-only search engine. Blog content is supposed to be a little different, a little more focused on what’s going on now.
    But when it comes [...]

Haven’t been over to Hyperlocal Blogger lately? No worries. Here’s a look at some of what’s been said on my other blog.
