What’s in Your Marketing Bag?

Kevin Levi wrote a good article Friday that slipped through the cracks for the weekly Link-o-rama, but that’s a good thing because it deserves more attention than it would’ve received there.

What Every Sales and Marketing Arsenal Ought to Have

This isn’t about search marketing. Kevin shares a checklist of marketing tools every small business needs:

  1. Web presence

  2. Brochure
  3. Elevator pitch
  4. Backgrounder
  5. Success stories or testimonial statements
  6. Topical articles
  7. Blog or newsletter
  8. Key messages/differentiation statements

It’s a good list, and Kevin goes into more detail on each item above. There are also a few more necessities added by readers in the comments on the original post. Definitely worth a read!
